Rules and Regulations for Passengers

To ensure a safe, comfortable, and pleasant journey with Kyei Nan Taw Express, passengers are kindly requested to read and comply with the following rules and regulations.

1. Ticket Purchase

• Accuracy of Information: Passengers must accurately enter the route, date, departure time, seat number, and personal details on the App. (The passenger shall bear full responsibility for any incorrectly entered phone numbers, names, or itinerary details.)

• Booking Confirmation: A ticket is considered confirmed only after the payment is successful and an E-Ticket / Booking Confirmation has been issued.

• Promotions: Promotions and Promo Codes are only valid within the specified terms, routes, and validity periods.

2. Departure Time and Check-in

• Early Arrival: Passengers must arrive and check in at the terminal at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

• Verification: Upon check-in, passengers must present their E-Ticket/Booking Code and, if required, an NRC (National Registration Card) or a valid form of identification.

• Missed Buses: If a passenger misses the bus due to lateness, the ticket fare will be strictly non-refundable.

• Schedule Schedule Alterations: Departure or arrival times may change due to traffic congestion, weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.

3. Luggage and Personal Belongings

• Identification: Passengers must clearly write and attach their name and phone number to their luggage.

• Valuables: Cash, jewelry, mobile phones, laptops, and other valuable items must be kept securely with the passenger at all times. (The bus line will not be held responsible for any loss or damage caused by passenger negligence.)

• Prohibited Items: Illegal items, narcotics, weapons, flammable materials, explosives, and strong-smelling goods are strictly prohibited on board.

• Excess Luggage: Additional fees may apply to luggage and cargo that exceed the standard weight and size limits.

4. On-Board Code of Conduct

• Compliance: Passengers must strictly follow the safety instructions given by the driver, bus crew, and authorized personnel.

• Safety First: Standing while the vehicle is in motion, distracting the driver, or attempting to open the doors while moving is strictly prohibited.

• Prohibitions: Smoking, drinking alcohol, consuming illegal drugs, and gambling are strictly prohibited on board.

• Behavior and Cleanliness:

  • Passengers must refrain from making loud noises, using abusive language, or engaging in inappropriate behavior that disrupts others.

  • Please maintain the cleanliness of the bus interior and dispose of trash only in designated bins.

  • Passengers must avoid damaging the vehicle and its property. In the event of damage, compensation must be paid according to the assessed value.

5. Children, Senior Citizens, and Health Conditions

• Child Supervision: Children must be closely supervised by their parents or legal guardians at all times.

• Special Assistance: Senior citizens, pregnant women, and passengers with medical conditions or special needs must inform the bus line in advance during ticket purchase.

• Health and Medication: Passengers must bring their own required emergency medications. Passengers showing severe symptoms of infectious diseases are kindly requested to postpone their journey for the health and safety of others.

6. Ticket Changes and Cancellations

• Notification: Changes to travel dates, seat numbers, or cancellations must be reported to the bus line Hotline before the specified deadline.

• Refund Policy: Ticket changes and refunds depend on the ticket type, promotional terms, and the time of request. (Promotion or FOC tickets may be non-changeable and non-refundable under certain conditions.)

• Cancellation by Bus Line: If the bus line cancels a trip, passengers will either be transferred to an alternative itinerary or given a full refund in accordance with standard regulations.

7. Emergency Situations

• In the event of mechanical breakdown, severe weather conditions, road closures, or other unforeseen emergencies, the bus line reserves the right to change vehicles, delay trips, or adjust schedules, prioritizing passenger safety above all else.

8. Acceptance of Terms

⚠️ Note: Clicking "I Agree" to purchase a ticket constitutes confirmation that you have read, understood, and agreed to accept and abide by all the rules and regulations stated above.
